update #10

Mum has just had chemo #3 and if you follow her blog she is writing her own updates right now. Some complications from her recent PIC line but back to 'normailty' now for a few weeks, let hope.

She is up for a few hours a day and visiting blogland.

I haven't managed down since December unfortunately, though my priority wish is to go visit. The practicalities of getting down there haven't allowed me to do so. And so l can only relate really, that which is related to me and my impressions.

Mum is generally upbeat, though so tired and now JP/Dad has a touch of flu (man) or otherwise, so they must be careful around Mum as we all know germs are not helpful to Mum at this stage.

As Jim says back soon with more...

  2. Cancer form is based on excessive fire element and produce excessive earth element, to balance that, put a large glass jar of water by her bedside, no any form of fire element near her...
Birth day is related to the elements we explore on that fateful day, may be metal, may be wood, then the 10 years period, yearly, monthly and daily... the elements are in the atmosphere, not as the solid form that we can see.
Moanie Mom will feel much better in the coming year. Starting on Feb. 4th, 2012, the official Water Dragon Year.
*the eerie truth behind the 9 year-old Christina-Taylor Green was shot dead in Gabrielle Giffords' assassination attempt, because she inherited the metal-fire elements from 9/11/2001.

  8. It's tough finding the time to schedule everything. I know from the experience of My Dad living in northern New Hampshire, while I lived in Boston, during the times of his final illnesses. The distance between my place and his hospitalization was about 140 miles, so I'd try to schedule a couple of days, as I could, so that I could stay over and accomplish a few chores for him around the house while there. Tough to make those trips, though, and wearing, both physically and mentally. Take care of yourself while you care for Mum! You're no good to her if you aren't in good shape yourself (as you know.)
