update #12

Mum is back home!!
A weeks sojourn at the Hosepipe as she calls it (Hospice), she has had jacussi's andfoot massages, shopping trips, visitors and painting classes...I believe the tutor asked to keep her painting!

I do know she has relaxed some, slept some nights through and is now back tucked in her bed, under her beloved quilts.

Dad fussing suitably over her again and getting on each others nerves, well that's my understanding of marriage anyway! So all good then!

No more chemo until February, as Mum has a ct scan booked for the end of the month.

I just spoke to Mum and she says Hello!! to y'all and as soon as her internet is sorted, hopefully at the weekend, she will be chatting to you herself..
back soon with more...

  1. Thanks so much for the update. I'm glad she and JP are fussing...that's a good sign. When you don't feel good, sometimes you just go along and don't put up a fight. That means she still has plenty of spunk in her! lol I'll be praying for good results when she has her ct scan.

  4. The Hosepipe - love that. For some odd reason though now I have "down the dustpipe" stuck in my head - the first ever Status Quo song when they moved to boogie rockers from psychedelic pop band

  8. It sounds as though she has had a lovely little vacation! I know it's not quite that, but still good to hear she's well-rested and home! Please give her my love, and assurance of my continuing prayers.

  13. We need an update, please, Alice. I know from elsewhere you were chatting with Moannie a couple of weeks ago but how's she doing. Still giving them hell at the hosepipe and getting on your Dad's nerves I hope? If she stops doing that I'll really worry.
    Love
    John
