A very long week of waiting for Moannie and co
and yesterday, each other felt like a days breadth
finally, came the text
'yes to chemo'
which is the news Mum wanted, wished (and yeah she may even have prayed) for
I know many of you have prayed, sent light, good thoughts, positive vibes...
all gratefully received...
and so next week chemo commences and Mum has agreed to sign up for a trial also.
More soon....
All good thoughts/wishes/vibes will continue.
ReplyDeleteI will be thinking of you, Moanie, especially.
ReplyDeleteKeep trekking.

Nuts in May
she can kick this rotten crap into remission, I know it in my heart. hugs to you, dear 'Alice'
ReplyDeleteGood luck
ReplyDeleteStunned about Moanie's news. She is such a nice lady, and for some reason this dreadful desease always seems to strike nice people. She is a very positive person and I really admire her so much - I know she will fight really hard and that helps. Also I really do believe in miracles and I will pray. Take care ~ Eddie x
ReplyDeleteThinking of all of you and wishing you strength. Love and hugs.
ReplyDeleteLibby said it perfectly - "All good thoughts/wishes/vibes will continue."
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed for you and Moannie. Poor lambs.
ReplyDeleteKeeping everything crossed that it all goes well and sending positive thoughts and oodles of Reiki. x
ReplyDelete"and yeah, she may even have prayed." lol You all have such wonderful attitudes. You know I am reliving my dad's experiences along with you all....I remember the day they told him he could have chemo. And it did work, you know. It did work. Just make sure there is someone there to help her when she is weak....so that she doesn't fall. Maybe you could suggest that she have a walker on hand....just for extra support. We don't want her to fall and break a hip.
ReplyDeleteOH Cindy, heavens to betsy!!
ReplyDeletenow a broken hip would be disastrous especially after her hip replacement..
you are a sweetheart....
thanks for all your support, comments and yes prayers!!
luv 'alice' xx
