anais nin

'What can l do with my happiness? How can I keep it, conceal it, bury it where l may never lose it? I want to kneel as it falls over me like rain, gather it up with lace and silk and press it over myself again.'

Anais Nin - Henry and June

  1. Savour. Indulge. Swim in it.

  2. Went to fast, I wanted to add:
SAVOUR IT NOW. Now is the moment.

  3. sometimes I think it just shows ...

  4. I think happiness soon slips through the fingers. Whereas contentedness can hang around you for ages without much effort.
    Hope yours does, anyway.
